Andrea and Steven

I still can’t get over how wonderful Andrea & Steven’s autumnal wedding celebrations at Guardswell Farm were last October, what a day! The wild weather certainly didn’t dampen any spirits here, with A & S and all their lovely guests having a fabulous time, enjoying every second of the day in Guardswell’s many magical spaces. I must give Gloam a special mention for creating the most amazing bouquets, buttonholes and floral installations, as well as all the beautiful styling which complimented the atmosphere and feel of the day perfectly.

Sophie and Nick

Sophie & Nick’s late summer celebrations at the fabulous Rossie on the Earn were an absolute dream to photograph. There was so much to love about this wedding, from the wonderful ceremony in the sunken garden of Rossie House, to all the gorgeous blooms and styling by Ochre Botanical Studios, it was a joy to be a part of. Hope you all enjoy looking through photos as much as I did taking them.

Hazel and Chelsea

I know I shouldn’t have favourites, but Hazel and Chelsea’s fabulous wedding at Queen’s Park has to be right up there! This was a day so bursting with colour and personality that I had a smile etched on my face from the minute I arrived in the morning. With Chelsea being an incredible artist I knew the bowling club was going to be dressed up to the nines, but it exceeded all my wildest expectations. The gold tinsel draped walls alongside all the magical Flowers Vermilion creations made for the most fabulous backdrop, with the orange chairs completing the perfect bowling club chic look! If you thought the day couldn’t get any better Claire the Humanist was on celebrant duties, and delivered yet another brilliantly heartfelt ceremony, full of laughs and hilarious anecdotes. This was all followed by an afternoon and evening of Pizza, Prosseco and dancing, the perfect end to the best day.

Nadia and Ross

The second leg of my whistle-stop 2022 European tour took me to the incredible Villa Catureglio in the Tuscan hills for Nadia & Ross’s fabulous wedding. This really was the most amazing day to be a part of, and with Nadia’s family being from this gorgeous part of Italy the day was even more special and personal. It’s honestly hard to put into words how wonderful everything was, but hopefully these photos give you an insight into their magical celebrations. A huge thank you to Nadia & Ross for having me along, I had an absolute ball!

P.S. I must give my pal Ange (aka - Fauna Flower Folk) a big shout out for the stunning flowers and styling on the day. Her work is so so good, go check it out!

Kirsty and Liam

Kirsty & Liam tied the knot at the Magical Chateau Rigaud in the French countryside surrounded by vineyards and sunshine, and needless to say it was incredible. There were endless moments of joy and laughter throughout the day, from arriving at the reception in an open top Citroën 2CV (doesn’t get much more French than that right!), to the fabulous firework display lighting up the night sky, it literally had everything. If you’re planning a European wedding in the sun do get in touch, I’d love to capture your celebrations.

Sam and Pat

On a beautiful late Spring day in May Sam & Pat celebrated their marriage with all their nearest and dearest at Sam’s incredible family home in the rolling Ayrshire countryside. I really couldn’t have wished for a more wonderful day to photograph, it really had it all. Glorious weather, amazing styling, lots of dogs, and of course the most important ingredient - lovely people. It was such a treat to work alongside some of my favourite wedding industry pals too (all listed below). I must give a special mention to Di (Myrtle & Bracken) for creating the most incredible floral arrangements, which included gorgeous wild flowers and foliage from the gardens and woods surrounding the house.

Jacqui and Jez

On a glorious spring day in April I headed to the always fabulous Guardswell Farm in Perthshire. Jacqui & Jez had to wait an extra year to celebrate with all their family and friends, and they did so in some style! I’d been looking forward to their wedding from the minute they booked me, and it lived up to every expectation I had. From the wonderful ceremony in the granary right through to the incredible music and dancing in the evening, it had it all. A truly magical day full of charm and character, a real cracker of a wedding! I must give Nova Botanics a special mention for their gorgeous flowers and styling, the whole place looked amazing.

Claire and Calum

What a treat it was being back at my all time favourite spot Cambo Estate for Claire & Calum’s fabulous wedding celebrations. The whole day was brimming with love and laughter, with the most gorgeous styling and autumnal colours complimenting all of Cambo’s beautiful spaces. There were so many highlights throughout the day, but my favourites have to be the icy cold dip in the sea (not me obviously!), the epic confetti throw (future couples take note, this stuff is incredible!), the amazing flowers and arrangements by the super talented Flowers Vermillion, and perhaps best of all, cutting about the estate in a golf buggy to make sure we made the most of the dry weather window! This certainly was a day to remember, thanks so much for having me along guys, I had a ball!

Eleanor and Louis

Eleanor & Louis’ wedding extravaganza in Glasgow’s West End was without a doubt one of my highlights of 2021! I knew as soon as I read their enquiry that the day was going to be amazing, and needless to say it very much lived up to expectations. After the most beautiful ceremony in the magnificent Wellington Church, which was decorated to perfection by Ruby Flowers, we headed back to Louis’ wonderful family home for the most incredible reception. I can’t skip any further without mentioning their fabulous wedding wheels…. I’m not usually one for wedding cars but their Citroën 2cv along with amazing handmade Just Married sign was a total dream! Anyway…back to the reception! After marvelling at the all wonderful artwork and sampling a few Delizique delights, we were treated to some superb speeches, including a hilarious and heartfelt video message all the way from Canada from Louis’ best pal. The day was topped off perfectly with everyone following the piper through Kelvingrove Park down to Stravaigin for dinner, drinks and plenty of partying I’m sure!

Sarah and Matt

It was so lovely being back at one of my favourite old haunts Colstoun House for Sarah & Matt’s gorgeous summer wedding celebrations. Sarah looked stunning in her beautiful Halfpenny dress which worked perfectly alongside the pastel pink bridesmaids dresses and fabulous summery bouquets by the always amazing Feathergrass Florals. I must give an honourable mention to Matt and his groomsmen, who all looked rather dapper in the super sharp suits! After a lovely relaxed morning getting ready and drinking a glass or two of champagne, it was time for the main event, the most wonderful outdoor ceremony on the lawn where I happened to witness one of my all time favourite wedding moments…. Being a huge dog fan I’m always delighted to see a dog charging around on the morning of a wedding day, and I was even happier to hear that Sarah & Matt’s gorgeous Labrador Molly was going be acting as a ring bearer during the ceremony. Molly not only did the perfect job of delivering the rings, but then decided to act as a witness as well, sitting perfectly whilst Sarah & Matt exchanged their vows. It was always going to be hard to top that, but the confetti, champagne, canapés, amazing speeches and packed dance floor that followed came mighty close! This really was the most magical wedding day, thanks so much for inviting me along guys!

Ali and Jonny

Ali & Jonny - what an awesome pair! I had the most wonderful time capturing their fabulous wedding celebrations at one of the best venues around - Cambo House. The day was full to the brim with love, fun and laughter. From the epic Abba singalong during the ceremony to the funk and soul party courtesy of Nick Bruce and his Blinding Lights - it had it all! Throw in lots of gorgeous details (Ali’s beautiful Temperley dress and the stunning Myrtle & Bracken blooms in particular), a Dalmatian called Cilla, and a seriously lovely bunch of people, and you’ve got yourself the perfect wedding right there!

Ali & Jonny’s amazing day is also featured on Love My Dress. Click the link to check out their full story.

Anna and Tom

Anna & Tom’s fabulous wedding celebrations in the heart of the Shropshire countryside were an absolute blast from beginning to end! I think you’ll all agree that Anna looked incredible in her stunning Rolling in Roses dress, and I must say Tom scrubbed up rather nicely too!

After a wonderful, heartfelt ceremony in the Town Hall and a few snaps round the lovely streets of Bishop’s Castle, we all made our way over to Norbury Village Hall for the reception. Anna & Tom had worked wonders transforming the space into something quite magical, with beautifully decorated trestle tables stretching the length of hall, and greenery and flowers aplenty!

A cracking set of speeches and epic feast were followed by some hotly contested, aperol spritz fuelled lawn games - my personal favourite being splat the rat (took me right back to my primary school days!). The day was topped off in style with the superb King Brasstard’s (a 7-piece New Orleans brass band) providing the perfect soundtrack to dance the night away!

Thank you so much for inviting me along guys, I had a whale of a time!
