Jennifer and Pryderi

There’s a few places I always love going back to, and Guardswell Farm is definitely one of them. A beautiful venue set in the heart of the Perthshire countryside, it was the perfect setting for Jen & Deri’s fabulous black tie wedding in September. A super stylish day with the most amazing outfits, gorgeous styling and blooms by Feather Grass Florals, and of course a wonderful bunch of folk to top it off! J & D brought so much fun and energy to their celebrations that you couldn’t help but get caught up in the magic of it all, it really was the best day.

Kirsty and Rob

I had the best time capturing Kirsty & Rob’s amazing wedding celebrations at the fabulous Free Company on the outskirts of Edinburgh back in June. I’d been looking forward to their day from the first time we’d chatted, and it exceeded every expectation I had, it was truly magical. There were so many wonderful moments throughout the dat, and it was so lovely seeing K & R and all their family and friends enjoying the glorious weather in the most beautiful setting. I must give Fruit Salad Flowers a mention for creating the most incredible bouquets and floral displays, the colour pops throughout the venue elevated the already fabulous spaces into something super special.

Jacqui and Jez

On a glorious spring day in April I headed to the always fabulous Guardswell Farm in Perthshire. Jacqui & Jez had to wait an extra year to celebrate with all their family and friends, and they did so in some style! I’d been looking forward to their wedding from the minute they booked me, and it lived up to every expectation I had. From the wonderful ceremony in the granary right through to the incredible music and dancing in the evening, it had it all. A truly magical day full of charm and character, a real cracker of a wedding! I must give Nova Botanics a special mention for their gorgeous flowers and styling, the whole place looked amazing.

Ali and Jonny

Ali & Jonny - what an awesome pair! I had the most wonderful time capturing their fabulous wedding celebrations at one of the best venues around - Cambo House. The day was full to the brim with love, fun and laughter. From the epic Abba singalong during the ceremony to the funk and soul party courtesy of Nick Bruce and his Blinding Lights - it had it all! Throw in lots of gorgeous details (Ali’s beautiful Temperley dress and the stunning Myrtle & Bracken blooms in particular), a Dalmatian called Cilla, and a seriously lovely bunch of people, and you’ve got yourself the perfect wedding right there!

Sarah Jane and James

I knew from the moment these two got in touch about their wedding that it was going to be amazing, and boy oh boy, was it amazing! Working closely with some of Scotland’s finest wedding suppliers, Sarah Jane & James created a wee bit of magic on the Ayrshire coast, which was a total dream to photograph. From the truly stunning floral arrangements and bouquets by my all time favourite florist - Myrtle & Bracken to the gorgeous bespoke Flossy & Dossy dress, that Sarah Jane looked incredible in, the day was oozing with style and personality. After a wonderful ceremony in the camellia house in the grounds of Culzean Castle, we explored the walled gardens and took stroll on the beach before heading back up to Sarah Jane’s family home to carry on the celebrations. The day was topped off with a rabble rousing performance from their pals band, who’d reformed for one night only, and played an epic set of stone cold classics!

Big shout out to Gillian from Pin Up Hair Glasgow, Doug from Northern Aye Photography, who did a cracking job second shooting for me, and also Cue the Mustard (Videography) - you were all a total dream to work with!

Tegan and Conrad

My oh my, what a fabulous day this was! Tegan & Conrad travelled all the way from Canberra in Australia to tie the knot in the beautiful Perthshire countryside, and they couldn’t have picked a more magical place than Ballintaggrt Farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and stunning scenery Ballintaggart is a wee slice of Scottish paradise, and the perfect spot for a romantic elopement!

A lovely leisurely morning spent getting ready, along with a couple of glasses of bubbly and some delicious nibbles, was followed by a wonderful, intimate ceremony with the most spectacular views across the hills. The one thing I love about humanist ceremonies is you can personalise your ceremony however you wish. It was so lovely to hear Tegan & Conrad’s story, as well as a couple of lovely readings, which were beautifully read by their equally lovely pals - Lauren and Fazel. The ceremony ended in true Scottish style, with everyone (including me!) having a sip of Whiskey from the Quaich. A Scottish tradition I’m very much in favour of!

After a few snaps in the gorgeous surroundings, we headed down the road to the fabulous Grandtully Hotel for a couple of their signature cocktails. (It’s a times like this I wish I had a driver!) The day was topped off with what I’m sure was an epic feast of culinary delights, prepared by the amazingly talented Ballintaggart kitchen team.

Tegan & Conrad, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your wonderful wedding celebrations, I had the best time!

Dani and Etiénne

Dani & Etiénne invited me along to the beautiful Villa Ravano in the heart of the Tuscan countryside to capture their gorgeous wedding celebrations back in September. I had the most amazing weekend hanging out with the two of them and their lovely friends and family, and can honestly say I felt more like a guest than a photographer, everyone was so welcoming and down to earth. Dani & Etiénne’s warmth and sense of fun was evident throughout the whole day, from their wonderful, intimate ceremony right through to the wild, moonlit disco!

This truly was a weekend I’ll never forget, thank you so much for inviting me along guys! x

Anna and Tom

Anna & Tom’s fabulous wedding celebrations in the heart of the Shropshire countryside were an absolute blast from beginning to end! I think you’ll all agree that Anna looked incredible in her stunning Rolling in Roses dress, and I must say Tom scrubbed up rather nicely too!

After a wonderful, heartfelt ceremony in the Town Hall and a few snaps round the lovely streets of Bishop’s Castle, we all made our way over to Norbury Village Hall for the reception. Anna & Tom had worked wonders transforming the space into something quite magical, with beautifully decorated trestle tables stretching the length of hall, and greenery and flowers aplenty!

A cracking set of speeches and epic feast were followed by some hotly contested, aperol spritz fuelled lawn games - my personal favourite being splat the rat (took me right back to my primary school days!). The day was topped off in style with the superb King Brasstard’s (a 7-piece New Orleans brass band) providing the perfect soundtrack to dance the night away!

Thank you so much for inviting me along guys, I had a whale of a time!

Fiona and Alex

What a cracking day this was! Alex & Fiona’s wedding extravaganza at the fabulous Cow Shed in Crail had everything I love in a wedding - love, laughter, great people and plenty of colour! The gorgeous blooms by Floral Menagerie were something else, and brought a tropical, rainforest vibe to proceedings! I also loved all the wonderful furniture and knick knacks provided by the Frill Factory, which gave the space a lovely, homely feel and somewhere to put your feet up after dinner!

It was such a joy to see two such lovely people tie the knot, Alex & Fiona are such great people and certainly know how to throw a party!

I could honestly wax lyrical about how amazing this day was, but I’ll let the photos do the talking! Enjoy!

Sophie and Kyle

Sophie & Kyle’s amazing wedding in Edinburgh was such a treat to photograph! After the most wonderful ceremony at Summerhall, everyone made their way (beer and prosseco in hand!) across The Meadows to one of my all time favourite Edinburgh spots - The Timberyard, for their fabulous reception! The space was beautifully decorated with incredible DIY creations working perfectly alongside the Timberyard’s minimalist design. A cracking set of speeches (complete with superb props!) was followed by an amazing five course dinner, with every course looking like a work of art! The day was finished off with a wander round the Grassmarket in the evening sunshine, and dancing aplenty! A truly magical day! Thanks for having me along guys!

Arden and Steven

Arden & Steven’s two day wedding extravaganza was beyond amazing! Organising a wedding is no easy task at the best of times, but managing to organise the whole lot from Tel Aviv is ridiculously impressive! The celebrations started with the most wonderful, intimate ceremony at the spectacular Garnethill Synagogue. A truly memorable occasion filled with love, laughter and lots of dancing! We started day two with a wander round Pollok Country Park and one of my favourite spots in Glasgow - the World Famous Barras Market! This was followed by another fabulous ceremony at The People’s Palace, with a wonderful blend Scottish and Jewish traditions (which I must say go hand in hand rather nicely!). Everyone then made their way over to West On The Green for the most spectacular reception. Natalie & Laura (Lemon Box Studios) along with Di from Myrtle & Bracken created a little bit of magic in dressing the room, putting together a Bauhaus inspired masterpiece! The party carried on long into the night, with some pretty impressive Jewish wedding dances thrown in for good measure! Arden & Steven thanks so so much for having me along, I had an absolute blast!

BIG shout out to all the incredible suppliers, you’re all amazing! Cat Robertson Make-Up, Myrtle & Bracken, Lemon Box Studios, Limor Rosen, West On The Green, Sandy Butler, Three Sisters Bake.
