Lisa and Edward

Lisa & Edward had a wonderful early autumn wedding surrounded by all their lovely family and friends at the always amazing Cambo Estate. These two had planned their whole day to perfection, and it was so special seeing them enjoying every moment with the biggest smiles. I’ve been lucky enough to shoot a few wedding with Flowers Vermilion, and the beautiful florals and hanging installations were spectacular as ever. Can’t wait to be back at Cambo for more wedding celebrations this year, it’s always such a treat shooting there.

Rebecca and Andy

It was so lovely being back at the wonderful Ballintaggart Farm (one of my all time favourtie venues!) for Rebecca and Andy’s wedding celebrations. In amongst all the wild weather there were so many magical moments, and it was an absolute joy seeing these two tie the knot surrounded by all their nearest and dearest. Big shout out to the amazing Verbena Flowers for all the fabulous blooms, the flower cloud over the dining table was particularly spectacular!

Prudence and Luke

It’s been a wee while since I’ve shared anything on my blog, but what better way to mark my return than Prudence & Luke’s magical wedding at the spectacular Ardverikie House in the Scottish Highlands. The day was full of wonderful moments and oodles of charm and character. From the morning dip in the loch, right through to Luke taking the stage to serenade Prudence at the end of the night, it had it all! I must give a shout out to all the amazing suppliers who made the day even more incredible, you’re all superstars.

Sophie and James

There’s not really much I can say about Sophie & James’ wedding other than it was bloody incredible! It was so lovely being back home in North Yorkshire and my first time shooting at Crayke Manor certainly didn’t disappoint, I really couldn’t have wished for a magical spot. The celebrations were filled with character and charm, with Sophie & James’ attention to detail and amazing eye for style evident in every aspect of the day. I especially loved the beautifully handmade paper flowers created by Sophie’s lovely mum, which were the perfect addition to the wonderful tablescapes in the barn. I could honestly go on and on about how brilliant this day was, but I think I’ll let the photos do the talking this time!

You can also see Sophie & James’ fabulous day, and hear all about how they pulled it all together on the amazing Love My Dress blog, as well as a lovely feature on the Loeffler Randall journal too.

Big shout out to all the super talented suppliers, it was such a treat to work with so many amazing people.

Chloe and Laurens

I was back at one of my all time favourite spots, the Cow Shed in Crail for Chloe & Laurens’ amazing wedding celebrations, and what a day it was!

I’ve loved all the wonderful first looks I’ve shot down at the harbour in Crail, and this one was just as special. Chloe walked down arm in arm with her Mum, and was presented with her gorgeous bouquet by Laurens (a really lovely Dutch tradition which I’d not come across before). After a wander round the harbour for a few photos we headed back up the road for a wonderful, intimate ceremony in the new Roundal at the Cow Shed, a beautiful space which was looking super cosy with the fire lit in the background. A fabulous afternoon of music (provided by the incredible Rusty’s Travelling Piano Bar), food and drinks ensued, with the day topped off with the some top notch speeches and a Pulp Fiction inspired first dance. All in all a magical day with a cracking bunch of folk!

Emily and Doug

Emily & Doug’s fabulous wedding day in the heart of Edinburgh was an absolute joy from beginning to end. After the most wonderful ceremony atop Calton Hill overlooking the city, it was time for music, drinks and some pretty epic group photos in the glorious summer sunshine. We then made our way to one of my all time favourite Edinburgh spots - Timberyard to carry on the celebrations. A cracking set of speeches in the courtyard was followed by an amazing five course dinner, with every course looking like a work of art. The day was finished off with a wander round the magical Grassmarket for some photos, then back to Timberyard to dance the night away! This really was the most wonderful day, and being there to capture Emily & Doug having the best time with their lovely family and friends was so special.

Annie and Tom

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to blog Annie & Tom’s incredible Glencoe elopement! With the ever changing rules around weddings Annie & Tom decided to adjust their plans and elope in the Scottish Highlands, and I for one am so happy they did! It’s not often you get a glorious sunny day in the middle of March in Scotland, so I was feeling a wee bit smug on my drive up to Glencoe! After a lovely relaxed morning getting ready followed by a wonderful first look overlooking Cuil Bay, we headed over to Glencoe Lochan - a magical spot in amongst the mountains and pine trees which Annie & Tom had chosen for their ceremony. It’s always such a treat working with Claire The Humanist as I know she’ll pull an amazing ceremony out the bag, and needless to say this was no exception. It was so lovely to hear a wee bit more about Annie & Tom from where they first met to where they are now, and Claire told their story perfectly. After the ceremony we enjoyed a piece of delicious homemade wedding cake and a glass of bubbly, and it was then off to explore Glencoe and take in all the breath taking scenery, which isn’t in short supply believe me! We then made our way back to Cuil Bay where we treated to a spectacular sunset. The perfect end to the most wonderful day.

I must give a couple of shout outs, firstly to Barbara from Wild Flower Workshop for her green fingered wizardry, secondly to Annie & Tom’s gorgeous wee dog Cracker for being ridiculously adorable, and last but by no means least, Annie’s mum, who not only made their delicious wedding cake, but also Annie’s stunning dress!
